The story revolves around Ray (Phoenix Wilson) being sent to live with their grandfather, Nick (Wes Studi), who is fixing his roof. The secretive Nick doesn't seem to know how to bond with his grandchild. And Ray wanted to know more about the framed photograph of his grandmother. There was a chair with a bucket in it to cover the leaky roof. and her old ceremonial dress, under the support of Ray's mother. The two finally started talking while repairing the roof. And Ray discovers a deeper connection to his heroic grandfather than they ever knew possible
