The story revolves around Peter and his new family exploring the galaxy in search of adventure. before they finally meet Ego (Kurt Russell); A mysterious man claiming to be Peter's father. This is when Ego reveals herself to be an intergalactic god known as the Celestial. And Peter received some power from him. Even though Ego isn't the kind father he seems to be. As he attempts to use Peter to conquer the universe and tells him that he killed his mother. Peter and his friends put an end to their ego, but Yondu must sacrifice himself to save his surrogate son. Peter's next loss was the most painful one. In the famous Infinity War, Peter's beloved Gamora is killed by her adoptive father, Thanos (Josh Brolin). His pain caused Peter to indirectly allow Thanos to obtain the rest of the Infinity Stones. causing him and half the universe to disappear into dust But the pain Peter felt still remained. When he finds out there is a Gamora from another timeline somewhere in the universe right now
