The story revolves around the crew aboard HMS Innsmouth being sent north to rescue HMS Eibon that was lost during its voyage to the North Pole. Captain Mortimer (Rory Wilton) desperately tries to find his missing friend. Mortimer's first friend, Captain Strainer (Tim Cartwright) McCullough (Johnny Vivash), warns the captain of the treacherous waters ahead, but Lieutenant Roth (David Lenik), the arrogant son of an Innsmouth shipbuilder, convinces him to. The captain pushes forward and the ship can pick it up. But the ship crashes into a rocky reef and is invaded by a mysterious Ichtoid creature. which killed most of Innsmouth's crew. The panicked survivors fled to the Arctic ice. including Mortimer McCullough Roth, the gangster Spriggs (Ricardo Fratus), the idealistic young crew member Redgrave (Jake Watkins), and (GASP! ) Carmen, a young woman beaten by Stowway (Beatrice Barrilla), who is on the lookout for her brother.
