The story revolves around Deputy Regina Haywood (Amanda Warren and Dickinson) taking a big risk to become Commander of District 74. She is a seasoned cop who is quite familiar with the demands of the high crime district of Brooklyn, New York. But she doesn't expect a shooting outside a nail salon to draw her into a drama that polarizes the politicians and officials who await her leadership. Can she gain the power to keep up with the changes she wants? Or was her desire to create a community-centered police force got her fired?
