The story of Lynsey working for the US Army Corps of Engineers in Afghanistan. when her car collided with a bomb Injured her body and brain. After a difficult recovery period Linsey then returned home to New Orleans. She lives with her kind but neglectful mother and works cleaning the pool while she waits for the doctor to approve the request for a new one. Later, Linsey meets James, a good-natured mechanic. In which she has built a relationship that gradually changes from the ordinary to the more complex. as well as Linsey James is struggling to recover from his severe physical and mental wounds. Each one found comfort in each other. But as their friendship develops Lindsey is forced to question whether she has the heart to give and accept her love?
