storyline of the final chapter, shows Magne's brother Laurits talking to Jörmungandr, the mythical Midgard serpent who now grows and lives in the sea. Last season, we saw Laurits rediscover himself as Loki, giving birth to serpents, and eventually releasing the creature into the wild. After being pushed away by his brother, Laurits became comfortable with this serpent-like creature. and decides to stand up for himself and not take sides, Magne's or Jutuls'. He seems to have his own plans involving him and Jörmungandr. to take over the world
